Day 1

Day 1: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Morning:

  • Tashi View Point
    Offers panoramic views of the majestic Mount Kanchenjunga, especially breathtaking at sunrise.

  • Ganesh Tok
    A small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, situated on a hilltop providing a bird's-eye view of Gangtok.

  • Hanuman Tok
    A serene temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, offering peaceful surroundings and panoramic vistas.

Afternoon:

  • Bakthang Waterfall
    A picturesque waterfall located near Tashi View Point, ideal for a brief stop and photos.

  • Enchey Monastery

  • Do Drul Chorten Stupa

Day 2

Day 2: Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir & Optional Nathula Pass

Early Morning Departure:

  • Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake)
    A glacial lake situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft, known for its ethereal beauty and changing colors.

  • Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir
    A shrine dedicated to the late soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh, believed to protect the soldiers in the region.

  • Nathula Pass (Optional)
    A mountain pass at 14,140 ft on the Indo-China border, offering stunning views and a glimpse into border trade history.

Note: Nathula Pass requires a special permit and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Evening: Return to Gangtok.

Overnight Stay: Hotel in Gangtok.

Day 3

Day 3: Departure

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel.

  • Transfer: Drive back to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) for your onward journey.
